Hello everyone! My name is Vincent! I am currently a personal trainer at our Oceanside location. I am originally from Chicago and have been out here for the past 3 years due to me being active duty military. I started lifting because I was always the chubby kid and never had any discipline to change my habits. I found out about bodybuilding somehow in high school and absolutely fell in love with it and how beneficial it is. Now after some years of experience with training I am hoping to spread some knowledge and help others with their fitness goals!

Hello – my name is Molly! I’m a personal trainer and nutrition coach with a passion for all things muscle, music and personal growth. My mission as your coach is to equip and empower you to become the strongest version of yourself – both physically and mentally – so that you can dominate life outside the gym.
I specialize in helping others sculpt the body of their dreams by building muscle and chiseling fat. A few fun facts about me: I began my fitness monkey back in 2017 when I hired my first trainer right here at Self Made Oceanside! My other passion is music – I’m a huge metalhead and love going to concerts. I am also a drummer and play professionally for multiple church locations every weekend. I love animals and am owned by three dogs, a parrot and a desert tortoise!

Hey Self Made Fam! My name is Aaron Nava. I was born and raised right here in Oceanside. I’ve had a passion for fitness ever since the beginning of middle school when I had attended Martin Luther King.

There they had a bi-weekly fitness exam in the form of a run. At the end of the run the first 25 students to complete the run would get a stick marked with a number based on what place you finished at. The top 5 were given a special reward at the end of the period.
Seeing this, I was given an incentive to do better. Also, I was a bit on the heavier side growing up so it was hard for me to even make it halfway through. But I never let that stop me. Each time we did that race I told myself mentally, “don’t stop keep moving!” And each time I did better and better until eventually I got in the top 25 and even more so down the road, first place. I was ecstatic. It gave me the great idea to apply this mentality to everything I do and see what my body would be capable of. Which brings me to now.
I’ve held off getting certified in personal training for years even though I’ve trained friends and collegues for years via their request, just because I didn’t know what I wanted to do as a career despite the answer being so clear. I decided to finally stop holding it off because I knew this is what I was meant to do. I’ve gone year after year through trial and error on my own and passing that knowledge onto others and now I’d like to share that knowledge with all of you.
I can’t wait to get started and help anyone and everyone unlock their true potential!

I have competed in 6 different sports since the age of 8. Been a champion in 3 and a repeat champion in 1. • Played D-2 for Valdosta State University. I played running back. Also, I hold the rushing record with 4,000+ & 50 Touchdowns.

2016-17:
•Get pick up “UDFA” for Philadelphia Eagles. I was on practice squad & was activate week 12-17.

2017-18: played for Buffalo Bills

2019: oversea CFL. Played for Ottawa Redblacks. Week 3,7,10 player of the week.
